Studio & Online Services
1.0 Cancelation Policy
There are no joining fees. There are no administration fees.
Sixty five days notice must be given in the event you wish to cancel or change your membership option.
Cancellation request & change of plan forms are available on request via email by emailing info@balancefitt.com
We do not offer a suspension of membership unless it's under special circumstances such as permanent sickness or injury. This will be at the complete discretion of the Balance Fitt management.
If you are purchasing a membership you must complete three full months of payments before handing in your notice of 65 days. Those who purchase a special offer plan, we cannot except notice until the end of the offer period.
2.0 Payments
Payments are made online via the booking system using a visa or master card payment method. Payments will automatically renew each month on the date you signed up. Please note this is for membership options only and not pay as you go.
3.0 Cooling–off Period
As the client you are legally entitled to a 48 hour cooling off period. If you change your mind within 48 hours no charges will be made against you. This period begins from when the agreement is signed.
4.0 Pre Booking Classes
Studio Classes or online bookings can be made in advance between 31 days and up to 1 hour before the class begins.
Bookings can be made via the Web or App only.
To book online you must have a valid membership or pricing option.
Class bookings can be cancelled up to 12 hours before class starts without being charged.
Cancellations can only be made online.
Purchases made online can only be refunded via the online store, to the card that was used to make the payment.
5.0 Booking System
We have in place a self service online booking system. It is therefore the responsibility of you the client to ensure that you book your classes. If you forget to book and the class is then full we will be unable to provide you a place in the class. Please note that 12 hours notice to cancel your class is required those who cancel late or last minute three times in a seven day period will be automatically charged a £10 fine.
6.0 Fair Use Policy
We have a 'Fair Use Policy' in place to allow all members to enjoy our classes if you are using an unlimited membership option you will only be allowed to book a maximum of six peak classes per week.
Peak times are classified from 5.55pm onwards Monday to Friday.
7.0 Your Health
Please advise us of any medical conditions or changes to your health which may be affected by exercise.
Do not exercise beyond your ability, be aware of any warning signs in the studio and do not carry out activities that are unsuitable for you.
All clients must fill in our health questionnaire accurately whilst setting up their account and before participation in any class/physical exercise. This must also be kept up to date of any changes to the answers.
Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health professional before starting or changing any exercise program or making a lifestyle change – especially if you are overweight, pregnant, nursing, regularly taking medications, or have any existing medical conditions. Our site is not intended to provide medical advice or make medical diagnoses.
Please respect staff and equipment and keep things clean and tidy after use.
No shoes are allowed in the main studio, please wear gripped socks or have bare feet.
So we can support your fitness goals we encourage you to attend classes on a regular basis and partake in a variety of the classes we offer, your health is your responsibility and we are dedicated in supporting you.
8.0 Variation of Terms/Changes to Terms and Conditions of this Membership Agreement
Balance Fitt reserves the right to make reasonable changes to any of the terms and conditions of this Membership Agreement. You will be notified of any minor changes by way of a general notice and the date such changes will take effect from. Where appropriate, Balance Fitt will provide you with 4 weeks written notice.
9.0 Workshops & Personal Training
Workshops are non refundable except in exceptional circumstances if 48 hours notice is given in the event you need to cancel you can refer to another workshop of your choice.
Personal Training sessions are non refundable if 48 hours notice is not provided.
NB: When cancelling your class this must be done via the booking system if you do not cancel within the slot time given we kindly ask that you do NOT email us, text or send Facebook/ INSTA messages to cancel instead. We are unable to take this as a form of cancellation and you will still be marked as a ‘No Show’ which could result in penalties when booking.
10.0 Recommend a Friend
It the event you recommend a friend who signs up to a monthly subscription for a minimum of three months you will be credited with £10 to use against your monthly membership. Please note that it is the responsibility of the client to notify us when their friend has registered so we can action this offer.
11.0 Closure and Missed Classes
Balance Fitt is closed every year over the Christmas holidays, dates vary depending on Christmas bank holidays and all members are notified in the way of email. Balance Fitt is closed on all bank holiday dates unless you are notified other wise.
If staff members are off for sickness or annual leave we aim to ensure that your class is covered, unfortunately we can not always guarantee that the cover teacher will offer the same style of class. In the event that the class cannot be covered we will email or text you offering you another class option and to notify you that the class is cancelled.
If you are off sick or are unable to attend your classes your classes can be carried over within a three month period your booking system will notify you of how many classes you have available to use.
