Our privacy policy sets out how Balance Fitt uses and protects any information that you give us when you visit and use our webiste. Balance Fitt is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and if we ask you for personal information you can be assured it will be within the guidelines set out.

2. Who is Balance Fitt?
Balance Fitt is the trading name of Carla Stephenson. We are a private fitness studio providing fitness and wellbeing classes and products. We are based in Bedfordshire.

3. When do we collect your personal info?

  • When you sign up to our newsletters.

  • When you book a class.

  • When you create an account with us.

  • When you fill in a form.


4. What personal information do we collect?

  • If you sign up to our newsletter we collect your name and email address.

  • When you create an account with us we will collect your name, address, date of birth, contact number, your GP details, emergency contact details and information regarding your health if applicable. We will also collect a password for your account.

  • If you fill in our contact form, we will collect your name, email address, phone number, subject and your message.

  • Anonymous data about your use of our website via cookies in your website browser. Read more about cookies below.


5. How we use your personal information

  • To set up an account for you which enables you to manage your bookings and purchases online.

  • To process your booking requests.

  • To respond to your queries, feedback, refund requests and complaints as well as to record your attendance history and health issues.

  • To contact you about your bookings or purchases with us.

  • With your consent, we may use your personal information for notifying you via email of special offers, products or services we think may be of interest for you.

Balance Fitt partners with Acuity Scheduling and Wix to store your information on secure servers. Access to your personal information is password protected. Please visit www.acuityscheduling.com or www.wix.com to view their privacy & cookies policies.
This privacy policy does not apply to external websites and we encourage you to read the privacy policies for each of our partners.

7. How long will we keep your personal info?
If you have a membership in place with us we will retain your information until you send us your cancellation notification and at this point your details will be destroyed securely from the system. Emails are kept on file for business purposes and reviewed on a yearly basis however clients do have the option to unsubscribe at any point.

Balance Fitt are committed to providing the best possible service we can. In order to do this we require support from outside services as laid out in question 6. Balance Fitt do NOT sell your details to any third parties for marketing purposes.


However, we do share your information with companies in the following categories as an essential part of being able to provide our services to you:

  • Companies that allow us to provide an email marketing service such as Wix Shoutout.

  • Professional service providers such as Acuity Scheduling, Facebook and Wix who help us run our business.
